​​Varsity Head Coach - Jennifer Klein

Coach Klein started playing fastpitch in second grade and has been involved as a player or a coach for over 40 years. She played college ball at Illinois Wesleyan University and University of Central Florida. She started her coaching career at UCF and then spent time coaching at University of Florida and Oviedo High School. When she moved to Minnesota she started a family and coached youth ball from U8-18 Club (Moundsview, St Anthony, TC Twisters and Minnesota STARS). She has worked with local colleges and high schools as a pitching coach and clinician. Coach Klein has four daughters who all grew up playing softball in addition to other sports. She retired from coaching in 2014 however the love for the game has brought her back to the field. She is a teacher at Southwest High School and looks forward to working with the community to build a strong competitive program. Go Lakers!
